The measurement of β -decay rates in plasma, simulating stellar-like conditions, is high interest for the investigation radionuclides involved nuclear astrophysics processes. In new PANDORA plasma trap, to be built at INFN—Laboratori Nazionali del Sud Catania (Italy), will estimated by detecting γ -rays emitted daughter nuclei trapped confined plasma. present work describes efficiency High Purity Germanium (HPGe) detector array that placed around magnetic trap this purpose, as well front-end electronics and acquisition system suitable operation presence a counting rate background originating from Bremsstrahlung radiation.
